We were in need of a change for our one year old and decided to check out Hampton Cove Preschool. We were impressed from the second we walked in the door for a tour. It's clean, bright and cheerful and our daughter has learned so much. The transition from her old school to Hampton Cove Preschool went really well. The teachers provide wonderful care for our little girl and are great with communication. Our daughter is excited to go there every morning. We are so happy with our choice to use this school! In response to a community need for licensed, quality, early childhood education in the area, Melissa Chatagnier Isaac founded Hampton Cove Preschool in 2013 and serves as the school's principal. Her belief in the development of the whole child coupled with her education and experience created the environment found today at Hampton Cove Preschool. Mrs. Chatagnier Isaac holds degrees in both early childhood education and special education and often calls upon years of Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten teaching experience in public as well as private school environments to guide her decisions regarding school development.
Hampton Cove Preschool prides itself on being able to offer the best early childhood education possible by making sure that we have a certified teacher in every classroom. Our educated, experienced and knowledable staff is dedicated to and capable of implementing our proven curriculum and tailoring lesson plans to meet the needs of each and every child in the classroom.
Hampton Cove Preschool is open Monday through Friday from 6:45 am. until 5:45 pm. Children may attend at any interval within this time frame. However, to benefit the child, a consistent arrival schedule is encouraged to ensure that your child is present to participate in large group and small group instruction. Each class has a set schedule for activities and children should be in attendance at the start of the day’s activities in order to get the most out of the program for which they are enrolled.
Hampton Cove Preschool has an open-door policy. We encourage and expect parent participation and communication. Parents are welcome to visit and observe. Please feel free to call and check on your child at any time. Parent conferences are conducted twice each year (January and May). These conferences are an essential part of the communication process and have a direct and beneficial impact on your child’s development. These conferences are also a requirement for continued enrollment. Parents or teachers may also request to schedule additional conferences as needed. In the event that you have a suggestion or concern, please see the Principal or Vice-Principal. We are always open to suggestions, and want to see any concerns immediately addressed.
